TEAM TOTALENERGIES 2023

After 23 years into the international cycling scenario, Team TotalEnergies is now ready to face the 2023 season to reach new great goals.

Founded in 2000 the Western France Team TotalEnergies comes from the Vendee department and is getting through cycling with a long and winning history.
Over 23 years the team enjoyed the cycling scenario, being involved in some of the most memorable moments of this sport’s history: from the famous “Pontalier coup” of François Simon, to Lilian Calmejane’s cramps before his victory at Les Rousses on July 8, 2017.
And again, not to mantion two of the most incredible French feats involving the Tour de France’ yellow jersey since 2000, achieved by Thomas Voeckler in 2004 and 2011, Burgaudeau’s victory in the 2022 Paris-Nice against the big names in sprinting, and, as the last one, the legendary 2022 Milan-Sanremo with the second place of Anthony Turgis.
Now the new season is coming and the Team is ready to write another page of history supporting the three-time world champion Peter Sagan to conquer other prestigious victories.

THE VALUES

The motto of Team TotalEnergies reflects the desire to be, not only cycling athletes , but also people of the world and sport’s ambassadors of moral values to leave the world a better place.
Also the choice of the title sponsor, TotalEnergies, fully represents this mentality: The French giant of the energy market, is transforming and reinon tforcing its ambitio be a world-class player in the energy transition and to get to net zero in 2050, together with the objectives of the European agenda.
Fun and ethical values are therefore the engine of the TotalEnergies Team cyclists to aspire to the greatest goals of this sport.

THE ATHLETES

Throughout the years lots of grats cyclists have signed for the French Team: the last of one is the three time world champion and one of the greatest cyclists of all time Peter Sagan, who joined the club last season with the crew Daniel Oss and Maciej Bodnar.
This year the team is ready to face the 2023 season with new young cyclists and the contract extension of Alexis Vuillermoz and Anthony Turgis.
We now have to wait for an exciting station to support Peter Sagan in the Classics of the North and in winning his eighth green jersey at the Tour de France.

THE KIT

Throughout its history the team has always surrounded itself with primary technical partners able to mark the history of the Teams.
Reflecting the team’s essence - and characterized by the seven colors representing the seven types of energy produced by the brand TotalEnergies. Bomber Suit, Bomber Jersey and LTD Bibshorts are just some of the products the team will wear the upcoming season, along with the Fiandre line jackets to utilize in case of cold and wet weather to keep riding without compromises in terms of comfort and aerodynamic.
