Polartec® Alpha® is the latest evolution of synthetic insulation offering a rare combination of lightweight warmth and true breathability in a "puffy" style garment. Alpha® creates insulating loft but does not require down proof fabrics, allowing a sandwich construction with mesh and breathable fabrics for performance that's not available in traditional insulation.
