Excellent jacket

I have long cherished Sportful products ever since I purchased a 'hot pack' lightweight, waterproof for the Alps. The Fiandre warm jacket has been keeping me warm on the Brittany roads in November. It is very well-made. My only slight quibble with the 3XL is that an extra inch of fabric longer at the waist would have been ideal.

I was nervous about buying this because I couldn't find any reviews. It's the best winter cycling jacket I've owned. I've used it down to 0 °C and was warm throughout my ride. I've also used this in strong winds, a rain storm so heavy it was hard to see, and hail. It has excelled in everything I've put it through. In extra cold weather I wear a merino base layer underneath the jacket but it's all I've ever needed.
The fit is excellent, it's durable and lightweight. It does run small. I usually wear a medium but a large fit me very well.
