Gathering at VIA Atelier

Riding With Peter
The heart of the ride was at Regent’s Park, where we looped the circuit five times. Each lap brought a different rhythm with more than 300 people. Sometimes we rode easy, chatting in small groups, swapping stories, and sneaking glances at Peter as if to remind ourselves it was really happening. Other times, the pace lifted just enough to spark that racing instinct we all carry inside. It was never about dropping anyone — it was about the joy of riding together, shoulder to shoulder, with one of the sport’s greats.
What stood out most wasn’t just Peter’s palmarès — though we were all very aware of it — but his presence. He was relaxed, quick with a joke, and generous with his time (as always). Whether he was sharing a story from the pro peloton or simply asking us about our own riding, he made everyone feel included. For a few hours, it didn’t feel like champion and fans — it felt like friends sharing the road.

The ride finished where it began, at VIA Atelier. But the end was just as memorable as the start. We lingered, trading stories, snapping photos, and enjoying the afterglow of an unforgettable experience. There were tired legs, sure, but there were also wide smiles and a shared sense that had been part of something rare.
Why We Ride
This social ride reminded us what cycling is really about. It’s not just the kilometers we cover, or the speed we hold. It’s the community, the laughter, the chance encounters, and the shared memories. Riding through London with Peter Sagan and Sportful, we experienced all of that and more. Until next time — thank you VIA Atelier, Saddleback LTD and - of course - Peter Sagan, for giving us a day on the bike we’ll never forget.
